History

WTM was incorporated in California in 1983 as a Manufacturer Representative for motion control related products.  In 1986 WTM became a Compumotor distributor and since that time the focus of the company has been on high tech distribution in Northern California and Northern Nevada. 

In 1993, WTM started a value-added System Integration Group whose capabilities included programming and value-added sub-assemblies.  The Systems Group has grown to add a wide variety of services including mechanical design, software design, complete machine design and contract manufacturing.

In 2000, through a company acquisition in Colorado, WTM expanded the geographical territory covered to include Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Arizona.  These territories are covered by local Field Sales Engineers.

In 2002, WTM moved to a new corporate headquarters in Morgan Hill, CA.  The facility has 35,000 sq/ft. Currently 12,000 sq/ft is dedicated to Systems Integration and contract manufacturing.
